Develops business processes and process reengineering methodologies.
Solves application and process related problems by creating detailed process and system design specifications.
Works with other areas across the business units to support a total solution approach.
Communicates business requirements for reports and applications development.
Facilitates collaboration within and across business units and across IT functions.
Resolves problems and improves business units’ technical environments.
Reviews and assesses nonvisual access standards to determine applicability to MDH contracts.
Engages with internal and external stakeholders, as necessary, to determine compliance with NVA laws, regulations, and standards.
Produces deliverables as required to fulfill MDH requirements pertaining to MDH NVA compliance.
Develops high quality oral and written presentations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Public Health, or other related discipline. Master’s degree and/or project management certification is preferred.
At least five (5) years of experience in business and/or systems analysis.
Experience managing requirements processes including conducting interviews and documenting technical requirements.
Experience with design activities including design sessions and defining future state processes.
Experience with vendors and service provider engagement.
Experience working with onsite and remote teams.
Experience with industry-standard System Development Life Cycle methodologies.
Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar certification is strongly preferred.
Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Demonstrates capacity to engage effectively with stakeholders and all levels.
